Cleaning, Unclogging & Maintaining your MJJC Foam Cannon

MJJC Foam Cannon not producing 'Shaving Cream' thick snow foam after some time?

The foam lance system may be clogged with hardened shampoo residue.
We recommend clearing out any excessive car wash shampoo after every use by turning the foam control knob (knob on top of the foam lance) counter-clockwise till the end & then activating the foam cannon for 50 seconds while the bottle is empty. Also, always store the foam cannon after cleaning it if you plan to not use it for some time.

Gravity Ball & Suction Tube

  1. Remove the suction tube from below the foam lance cap.
  2. If possible, try to blow some air through the tube to ensure there are no blockages or leaks.
  3. Check for any damage or leaks to the suction tube.
  4. Check the inside of the gravity ball for any residue that may have blocked the aperture of the ball where the shampoo enters the tube.

Foam Lance

  • Remove the adapter from the foam lance

  • Check if the o'ring on the adapter is damaged or missing
  • All orders from MJJC Australia come inclusive of 2 additional O'Rings

  • With a flat-head screwdriver, carefully unscrew the orifice & remove it from the body of the foam lance.

    • Check for any residue or blockages inside the orifice and body of the foam lance.
    • If there are any residue and blockages, use a small pin to unclog the aperture of the orifice.

Removing Pin on the MJJC Foam Cannon Nozzle
    • With a small pin, insert the pin into the small hole on the red nozzle as above.
    • Push the pin out of the nozzle.
      • This would detach both the black and red nozzle from the main lance revealing the inner foam lance system.
      • Remove the metal mesh & foam filters and clean it out with warm water by lightly scrubbing the mesh to remove any residue.
      • Lastly reassemble all the parts together and try to use the MJJC Foam Cannon as usual.
      • Always ensure to use the recommended dilution ratio of the shampoo you use to achieve optimum foaming and cleaning.

If foam cannon still does not produce 'Shaving Cream' thick snow foam, it might be time to change change the mesh in the foam lance.
